How to Restart the Audio Driver in Windows 10

Users who encounter audio problems while using computers can use the built-in troubleshooter in Windows 10 to fix it. With luck, most problems can be tackled. But the troubleshooter sometimes fails you, and you scramble to find other solutions. In fact, sometimes you can fix the problem by simply restarting the audio driver. Refer to the following steps to learn how.

Step 1: Press Win + Q, type in Device Manager, and open it.

Step 2: Find and expand Sound video and game controllers entry.

Step 3: Right-click on your driver entry and then select Disable device.

Step 4: After rebooting your PC, come to the same location, and then click on Enable Device.
