Error

Generally, this problem occurs while users are trying to access a folder in Windows 10. It also prevents users from deleting and renaming the folder.
It sounds fairly bad, but in most cases, just a few steps will be enough for users to fix the problem.

The method is to give permission to the folder, as shown below.

Step 1: Right-click on the folder which you’re unable to access and select Properties.

Step 2: Switch to the ‘Security’ tab.

Step 3: Under ‘Group or user names’ click on ‘Edit’

Step 4: Click on ‘Add’

Step 5: In the ‘Enter the object names to select’ box, type ‘everyone’

Step 6: Click on the ‘Check names’ button and then click on ‘Ok’

Step 7: In the ‘Group or user names’ box, select ‘everyone’ and select ‘Full control’ under ‘Allow’ and then click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘Ok’
