How to Pause Windows Updates in Windows 10 via Settings

According to default settings, whenever there is an update available, Windows 10 will automatically download and install it. That's time-saving as long as the downloading carried out in the background doesn't prevent your PC from running out of resources and hence slows down the PC. If you are concerned about the intermittent annoyance caused by the update, refer to the following steps to learn how to pause it via the Setting App.

Step 1: Press Win + I to open Settings, and click on Update & security.

Step 2: Click on Windows Update on the left part of the window.
