How to Set Vlc as the Default Video Player in Windows 10

Users who are familiar with Windows 10 should know that the default video player of it is Film & TV App. Although it supports a few popular video formats, it was incompetent compared to VLC, which supports almost every video format out there and would be a good replacement for the default App. Refer to the following steps to learn how to set it as the default video player on your PC.

Step 1: Open the built-in store App, download, and install VLC.

Step 2: Type in Settings in the Search bar and open it.

Step 3: Navigate to Apps > Default Apps

Step 4: On the right page, under the video player section, click on Choose a default, and Select VLC.
