How to Add a Password to a Local User Account in Windows 10

When users create a local user account in Windows 10, Whether to add a password is optional. Either they want to spare themselves the trouble of entering a password, or they have simply forgotten to set one. Still, they can add a password to a local user account if they want to do so now. 

Step 1: Right-click on the Start Menu button and click on Settings.

Step 2: Navigate to Accounts > Sign-in options.

Step 3: Click on the Password option on the right page and then click on Change.

Step 4: Follow the instructions to enter the needed information and then click on Finish.
