How to Change Command Prompt Background Color in Windows 10
Black is the default background color of Command Prompt, a powerful application offered by Microsoft. The program is stable and has been part of the Windows operating systems for a long time, although it rarely gets an update. However, Windows 10 has altered the application a bit and furnish it with several small features. Users of Windows 10 are now allowed to change the background color of Command Prompt. Step 1: Right-click on the Start Menu at the lower-left corner of the desktop.
Step 2: Select Command Prompt to open it.
Step 3: Right-click on the title bar of the Command Prompt window and then select Properties.
Step 4: Under the Colors tab, check off the box next to Screen Background and select a color box below it.
Step 5: Click on OK and reopen Command Prompt to check out the change.
