How to Disable Fast Startup in Windows 10

Fast startup is a feature that made its debut in Windows 8 from which Windows 10 has inherited it, although many users use it without knowing it. By default Fast startup is turned on, if you want to disable it to enhance your computer's performance, use the following steps:

Step 1: Type Control Panel in the search bar.

Step 2: Change the View by to Small icons.

Step 3: Click on Power Options.

Step 4: Click Choose what the power buttons do and then click on Change settings that are currently unavailable.

Step 5: Uncheck the box next to the Turn on fast startup(recommended) option.
