How to Disable Ip Helper Service in Windows 10

IP Helper service, the shorthand of which is iphlpsvcis one of the built-in program offered by Windows 10. It usually does no harm to disable the feature unless the user is running a remote database or needs tunnel connectivity. If you want to disable it, you can use the following steps to accommodate your need:

Step 1: Press Win + R to open the Run box.

Step 2: Type in Services.msc in the dialogue box and tap Enter to open Services.

Step 3: On the right part of the window, scroll down to look for IP Helper.

Step 4: Right-click on the entry and select Properties.

Step 5: Switch to the General tab and find the Startup type option.

Step 6: Change it to Automatic.

Step 7: Click on the Stop button within the Service status section.
