How to Limit the Bandwidth Usage by Dropbox

Dropbox, a personal cloud storage service, is widely used for sharing, transferring, backing up files. It's available on multiple operating systems, making it one of the most popular devices. It's the kind of programs that do their jobs in the background. On the one hand, that's convenient, freeing users from the trouble of intermittently controlling the software. On the other hand, because it is able to consume a lot of the bandwidth without alerting you, it could take a toll on your internet speed. If you are encountering the problem, you can use the following steps to limit the bandwidth granted to it.

Step 1: Launch Dropbox and click on the Dropbox icon on the taskbar.

Step 2: Click on your avatar and select Preferences.

Step 3: Switch to Bandwidth.
