How to Create a System Restore Point in Windows 10
System Restore serves as a safety net for users wanting to bring the computer back to a stable state when something bad comes about. Those stable states are called Restore Points. In older Windows versions, System Restore points can only be created manually. That's not the case anymore. In Windows 10, users spare themselves the trouble of doing it. But Windows 10 still gives users the liberty to create system restore points, perhaps on the grounds that some users gripe about the obsoleteness of the automatically created system restore points. Hence, if you want to create a system restore point, use these steps:
Step 1: Press Win + Q, type in create a restore point and open it.
Step 2: Switch to the System Protection tab.
Step 3: Click on the Create button at the bottom of the dialogue.
Step 4: Give the restore point a name and then click on Create.
