How to Show the Full Details in Delete File Confirmation Dialog Box in Windows 10
When a computer is in the process of deleting files, the computer system shows details such as file type, file name, and file location. This is a default setting in Windows 10 and appeals to most users for being concise and informative. But for some users who covet more details, this setting doesn't satisfy them. Step 1: Press Win + R to open the Run box.
Step 2: Type in Regedit and then press Enter.
Step 3: Navigate to
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects
Step 4: Right-click on the AllFilessystemObjects file.
Step 5: Select New and then String value.
Step 6: Name the new string value as FileOperationPrompt.
Step 7: Double-click on FileOperationPrompt and set the value of it as follows:
