How to Show the Full Details in Delete File Confirmation Dialog Box in Windows 10

When a computer is in the process of deleting files, the computer system shows details such as file type, file name, and file location. This is a default setting in Windows 10 and appeals to most users for being concise and informative. But for some users who covet more details, this setting doesn't satisfy them. Thanks to the flexibility Windows 10 offers users, you can configure the settings based on your needs. Refer to the following steps to learn how to do so.

Step 1: Press Win + R to open the Run box.

Step 2: Type in Regedit and then press Enter.

Step 3: Navigate to 

Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects

Step 4: Right-click on the AllFilessystemObjects file.

Step 5: Select New and then String value.

Step 6: Name the new string value as FileOperationPrompt.
