How to Remove Pin Login in Windows 10

Windows 10 offers a whopping set of security features to help users keep desktop safe. One of those security features is Windows Hello. which provides faster Windows sign-in options like a PIN, fingerprint scans and face recognition. The PIN option can be used to sign in to Windows, services, and apps.

A great difference between a Password and Windows Hello is that the PIN is connected to a device on which it's set up. The PIN is useless to anyone without the device. Someone who knows your password can sign in to the device, but in case of a PIN, they have to steal your device to do so. Besides, if you have several devices of Windows 10 that have a PIN, removal of it from one device will not delete other Pins on other devices.

How to remove PIN in Windows 10

Step 1: Press Win + I to open Settings.

Step 2: Navigate to Accounts > Sign-in options.

Step 3: Click on the Windows Hello Pin option on the right pane.

Step 4: Click on the Remove button.
