How to Disable Automatic Deletion of Files in Windows 10

Some users may haven't noticed that Windows 10 has introduced a new feature named Storage Sense. With that feature enabled, Windows 10 will automatically delete unused files when space is going to be filled to the brim. But for users who, for instance, like to keep unwanted files in the Recycle Bin before making final decision to delete it, they may want to disable the feature since it will delete files older than  60 days from the Recycle Bin. Refer to the following steps to learn how to do so.

Step 1: Press Win + I  to open Settings and click on System.

Step 2: On the right part of the window that has been brought up, click on Storage.

Step 3: On the right page, switch the toggle under the title to disable/enable Storage Sense.
