How to Restore Previous Version of a Driver in Windows 10

One of the advantages offered by Microsoft is its continuous updates of outdated drivers. While it spares many users the trouble of updating outdated drivers manually, some users reported that they had experienced issues after the installation of a newer version of a specific driver. If you encounter the same problem, rolling back to the previous version of the driver can help you deal with it. Use the following steps to do so.

Step 1: Right-click on the Start Menu button and click on Device Manager.

Step 2: In the Device Manager window, expand the device, the driver of which you want to roll back.

Step 3: Right-click on its entry and select Properties.

Step 4: Switch to the Driver tab.

Step 5: Click on the button labelled as Roll Back Driver.

Step 6: Click on the Yes button after the confirmation box has been brought up.
